65 20 020 Removing and installing/renewing roof aerial







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove roof spoiler







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unclip line clip (3).
Loosen the fastening clamp (2) and feed out the roof aerial with wiring through the top.
Tightening torque 65 20 1AZ.







NOTE: Roof aerial is shown removed for purposes of clarity.

Installation note:
Ensure correct cable routing.
Feed aerial lines (1) through groove (2).
Tab (3) secures the installed aerial lines.







Installation note:
Make sure guide (1) is correctly seated in roof recess (2).
Seal (3) must not be damaged.
Align the roof-mounted aerial with the vehicle longitudinal axis.
