The electronically controlled suspension uses an electronically control unit to control suspension characteristics, Figs. 1 and 2. The spring constant of the suspension and dampening force of shock absorbers are changed simultaneously in response to driving conditions, which results in a system which both maintains optimum riding comfort and good handling stability. This system also improves driving stability by automatically making adjustments of vehicle height depending on vehicle speed and load.
