MODEL 1988 Precis
PURPOSE

Some Precis cars built during March, 1988, may have inoperative rear window defrosters. This bulletin describes the cause of the condition and gives the recommended corrective action.

CAUSE

On the cars in question, the probable cause is a bent tab on the rear window defroster terminal. Straightening this tab corrects the condition.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1. Disconnect the connector from the terminal on the window. See Figure 1.

2. Straighten the tab on the terminal as shown in Figures 2a and 2b.
