Dear Mitsubishi Precis Owner,

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Reason For Notice:

Mitsubishi Motors Sales of America, Inc. has determined at a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in your Precis.

The heater control valve stem may fail causing hot engine coolant to leak onto the front passenger-side floor. This can result in a burn injury to the front passenger's feet.

Call Your Dealer:

Please contact your Authorized Mitsubishi Motors Dealer immediately to schedule an appointment for a corrective repair. The dealer will inspect your vehicle and replace the stem. There will be no charge for this service.

How Long Will It Take?

Repairs will require approximately 1 hour to complete, but may take longer depending on your dealer's schedule.
