PURPOSE

This bulletin is issued to emphasize the importance of aligning the bolt mounting hole of the Reverse Idler Gear Shaft before assembling the transaxle case. (See Figure 1).


If the bolt mounting hole is not aligned properly, it may be impossible to install the Reverse Idler Gear Shaft bolt, which would mean removing and reinstalling the transaxle case.

As reference to this bulletin, please write this TSB number in the TSB Revision boxes at the bottom of the affected page.
