SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTION


TSB Revision TSB 91-27-001

PURPOSE

This bulletin corrects the tightening torque values for the 3000GT rear axle shaft nut. This nut secures the companion flange to the rear axle of AWD models.

As reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the revision boxes on the affected pages, cross out the incorrect torques as illustrated on pages 2, 3, and 4 of this bulletin, and write in the correct torque value.

DESCRIPTION

The correct torque for tightening the rear axle nut is 260-300 N-m (188-217 ft.lb). Any other torque value for this nut shown in the service manual is incorrect.
