Transfer Case Oil Measurement

1. Drain the transfer case oil into a measuring cylinder/cup. Measure all oil drained from the case. Record the amount of oil drained on the Repair Order (RO).

Note:
10 minutes should be allowed for the oil to be completely drained from the transfer case.

If the oil measured is:

Less than 180 cc (6 fl oz) proceed to TRANSFER CASE REPLACEMENT instructions.

More than 180 cc (6 fl oz) proceed with TRANSFER CASE MODIFICATION.
