PURPOSE

This Technical Service Bulletin revises the 1991 300OGT Service Manual to include information on re-designed windshield spacers and the addition of windshield side spacers.

As a reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB revision number in the TSB revision box located at the bottom of the affected service manual page.

DESCRIPTION

When replacing the windshield on a 1991 300OGT, two important changes in the installation procedure must be followed.

1. Replace the existing windshield spacers with the re-designed spacers.

2. Add the new windshield side spacers before installing the replacement windshield.







For complete information concerning windshield replacement on the 1991 3000GT, refer to the 1992 3000GT Service Manual, pages 42-29 through 42-32.

Also, revise page 42-28 of the 1991 3000GT Service Manual with a note that refers to the reader to the 1992 3000GT Service Manual for the revised windshield replacement procedure. An example of this revision is shown on the illustration.

The re-designed windshield spacers and new windshield side spacers are available through your Regional PDC. Part numbers are:

MB645400: Windshield Spacer (2 per vehicle required)

MB646553: Windshield Side Spacer (2 per vehicle required)
