Emission Label Installation

1. Two Emission Recall Completed Labels are contained in the emission parts kit. For this recall, choose the label with "MITSUBISHI GALANT, printed on it. Discard the other unused label!
Note: The "MITSUBISHI GALANT label is printed with blue ink (Figure 6).

2. Write in your 5-digit dealer code under the white flap on the Emission Recall Completed Label (Figure 6).

3. Carefully remove the white paper from the backside of the flap. Press the now clear flap portion onto the label.





4. Carefully remove all dirt and oil from the vacant area BELOW the existing emission label. Affix the Emission Recall Completed Label BELOW the existing emission label (Figure 7).
