Selection of Connecting Rod Bearings

Figure 1.:

1. Observe and record the four crank pin OD identification numbers located on the 7th counterweight of the crankshaft. (Figure 1.)

2. Select the correct replacement bearing for each connecting rod by matching the crank pin OD number to the corresponding connecting rod bearing identification number/color shown in Figure 2.

NOTE: The location of the connecting rod bearing identification mark is on the outside of each replacement bearing. The identification color is on the edge of each bearing. (Figure 3.)


3. Repeat the selection process for the remaining connecting rod bearings, using the identification number information to order the correct parts.
