PURPOSE

This bulletin is issued to announce changes in the front strut damping rate, rear shock absorber damping rate and rear spring rates for Precis produced during or after December 1989.

DESCRIPTION:

INTERCHANGEABILITY

Even though the new and old parts are physically interchangeable, the new parts are not to be interchanged individually with the old parts because of the rate differences of the old and new parts. When replacing suspension parts, install the same part number that you removed from the vehicle. If the same part number is not available, replace both the left hand and right hand parts with the new part number.

Note: Intermixing old and new parts could result in poor handling and ride.
