Bearing Selection Worksheet

To select the correct replacement crankshaft main bearing, use the worksheet shown.

1. Record the four crankshaft counter weight color marks that reference the journal outside diameter.

2. Record the Roman numerals that reference the bearing support inside diameter from the bottom/rear of the engine block.

3. Match the journal outside diameter color mark with the bearing support inside diameter number using the Bearing Selection chart to select the proper bearing.
