Cooling System: Description and Operation

When the air conditioner control unit outputs ``LO'' signal, and coolant temperatures reaches approximately 185°F, the thermo sensor contacts close, providing a ground circuit to the fan relay, which provides voltage to the fan motor.

When air conditioner control unit outputs `HI'' the power supply from ignition switch will turn the condenser and radiator relay on low speed. If pressure switch is On because of high refrigerant line pressure, or if the thermo switch is On when coolant temperature is above 185°F, the condenser and radiator fan motor ``HI'' relay will be On, causing the condenser fan and radiator fan to be on high speed.
