Fig. 31 Cooling System Air Bleed Bolt:
1. Remove air bleed bolt from on top of thermostat housing, Fig. 30.
2. Fill coolant system through air bleed bolt hole until full.
3. Install air bleed bolt.
4. Slowly pour coolant into radiator until radiator is full and fill reservoir tank to FULL line.
5. Install radiator cap, start engine and allow to idle.
6. After thermostat has opened, perform 3000 RPM racing three times.
7. Stop engine and allow to cool completely. Failure to allow engine to fully cool may result in personal injury.
8. Open radiator cap, if coolant level has dropped repeat Steps 4 through 8.
9. Replace radiator cap and check for coolant system leaks.
