Purpose

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all 1990-1994 Precis vehicles to add a left rear suspension arm protector to the vehicle. This protector is designed to minimize possible fuel tank damage in the event of a collision. A letter has been sent to all affected vehicle owners telling them to return to their Mitsubishi Motors dealer to have the protector installed. A copy of this letter is shown in this bulletin.

Please note that the customer should not be charged for the procedures covered by this bulletin.

VEHICLES AFFECTED

All 1990 to 1994 Precis vehicles regardless of mileage. It does not apply to any other models or vehicles.
