MITSUBISHI ELECTRONICS AUDIO SYSTEMS, TOLL-FREE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & AUDIO SYSTEMS ERROR CODES
PURPOSE
This bulletin contains the following important information concerning Mitsubishi Electronics America (MELA) audio systems installed in various MMSA vehicles:
^ A new toll-free 1-800 telephone line for technical questions and assistance relating to MELA supplied audio systems. This toll-free number is for use when technical questions cannot be answered through normal MMSA channels.
^ Reference charts explaining the error codes displayed on the controller/radio control panel when the audio system experiences a problem.
TOLL-FREE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE LINE
Mitsubishi Electronics America (MELA) Car Audio Engineering has announced the establishment of a toll-free 1-800 technical assistance line. This number is for technical questions concerning MELA supplied audio systems that cannot be answered through the normal MMSA channels. This toll-free number is for use by all MMSA dealers. This number is not intended for Mitsubishi vehicle owners or other outside customers. DO NOT give out this number to vehicle owners or any other outside customer or vendor.

1-800-424-4707 (Available from 8:30am - 4:30pm PST)
Voice mail is available for after-hours calls. Messages will be answered as soon as possible.
AUDIO SYSTEMS ERROR CODE REFERENCE CHARTS
Some MELA supplied audio systems that utilize either CD changers or single CD players can display "error codes on the controller/radio display panel. Use the charts in this bulletin to decode these error code messages.
