REAR DOOR LATCHES INOPERATIVE

Rear Door Latches Inoperative - 2004-05 Galant. If the vehicle is parked outdoors and the rear doors are not opened for an extended period, water accumulation in the rear door latches may rust the internal actuators. Install new, improved rear door latches (p/n 5745A105 LH; p/n 5745A106 RH), to prevent this from reoccurring.
