MOMENTARY INCORRECT FUEL ECONOMY READING

PURPOSE

Some customers may experience a momentary incorrect fuel economy reading. In some cases the MPG or L/100 KM may display fuel economy values three to four times greater than the actual vehicle condition. The Multi-center display software has been updated to correct this condition. If a customer reports this condition, replace the Multi-center display with an exchange unit from Yazaki Service Center as described in the bulletin.

2006 Galant equipped with Multi-center display

PROCEDURE

Replace the Multi-center display with an exchange unit from Yazaki Service Center. Refer to Service Manual group 54A for replacement procedure.
