SIRIUS(TM) SATELLITE RADIO ACTIVATION
PURPOSE
Some audio Systems on the affected vehicles have been pre-activated at the factory with up to 17 SIRIUS(TM) Satellite Radio* channels; others only have one preset channel (channel 184).
This bulletin contains procedures for activating a free SIRIUS demo on all affected vehicles.

PROCEDURE
1. DEALERS ONLY SIRIUS free demo activation procedure:
a. With the ignition key on and the radio turned on, press the "FM/AM/SAT" button, Endeavor and Galant, or the "MODE" button, Outlander, on the radio until SIRIUS is selected.
b. Obtain the twelve-digit ID number as follows:
a. Endeavor and Galant Tune the radio to channel 0 and note the twelve-digit ID number.
b. Outlander Press the up-arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen, then the SIRIUS ID button. Note the twelve-digit ID number. Then press the back button in the bottom right corner to get back to channel 184.
NOTE:
If the twelve-digit ID number is not displayed, make sure there are no obstructions between the vehicle and the sky.
c. Park the vehicle in an open area so there are no obstructions between the vehicle and the sky.
d. Tune the receiver to channel 184. If audio can be heard, it is ready to receive the activation signal. If no audio is heard, make sure there are no obstructions between the vehicle and the sky (tall trees, buildings, etc.).
e. Call SIRIUS Satellite Radio retailer sales support at (888)465-8528.
f. Provide the customer service rep with your dealer's address, phone number and the twelve-digit ID number obtained in step b.
g. The SIRIUS rep will then send out the activation signal. It can take thirty seconds to five minutes for the radio to receive the signal. Once SIRIUS sends the activation signal to the receiver, the complete channel line-up will be available (refer to the SIRIUS channel guide at www. SIRIUS. corn for a complete and up-to-date listing of the available channels).
h. SIRIUS will then provide you with your dealership account number. Note this number for future reference.
2. CUSTOMERS ACTIVATION PROCEDURE
a. With the ignition key on and the radio turned on, press the "FM/AM/SAT" button, Endeavor and Galant, or the "MODE" button (Outlander) on the radio until SIRIUS is selected.
b. Obtain the twelve digit ID number as follows:
a. Endeavor and Galant: Tune the radio to channel 0 and note the twelve-digit ID number.
b. Outlander: Press the up-arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen, then the SIRIUS ID button. Note the twelve-digit ID number. Then press the back button in the bottom right corner to get back to channel 184.
NOTE:

e. Call SIRIUS at (888)539-SIRI (7474) or log onto www.SIRIUS.com.
f. Provide the customer service rep with your credit card information and twelve digit ID number.
g. The SIRIUS rep will then send out the activation signal. It can take thirty seconds to five minutes for the radio to receive the signal. Once SIRIUS sends the activation signal to the receiver, the complete channel line-up will be available (refer to the SIRIUS channel guide at www. SIRIUS.com for a complete and up-to-date listing of the available channels).
