Check Condition

- Battery positive voltage is higher than 11 volts
- Engine coolant between -30°C(-22°F) and 110°C(230°F)
Judgement Criteria

- Communication error

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS (THE MOST LIKELY CAUSES FOR THIS CODE TO BE SET ARE:)

- Malfunction of the radiator sensor
- Malfunction of the PCM

STEP 1. Replace the DOR radiator

Check the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

Q. Is DTC P1580 set?

YES Replace the PCM. Then go to Step 2.
NO The procedure is complete.
STEP 2. Perform the OBD-II drive cycle.

Check the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

Q. Is DTC P1580 set?

YES Repeat the troubleshooting.
NO The procedure is complete.
