A/C RELAY LOCATION CHANGE


APPLIED MODEL: 1987 Stanza Wagon

SERVICE INFORMATION

When installing air conditioning in a 1987 Stanza Wagon, note that the A/C relay location has been changed from 1986 models. The A/C relay in 1986 models was located behind the right side kick panel (Figure 1); the A/C relay in 1987 models is located on the fuse block (Figure 2).



In addition, the configuration and part number of the A/C relay has changed as shown below:
A/C KIT INTERCHANGEABILITY

^ If installing a 1986 Stanza Wagon A/C kit (P/N B7000-29R00 (2WD) or B7000-20R00 (4WD) in a 1987 vehicle, the A/C relay for the 1987 model (P/N 25230-89977) must be ordered separately.

^ If installing a 1987 Stanza Wagon A/C kit (P/N B7000-29R05 (2WD) or B7000-20R05 (4WD)) in a 1986 vehicle, the A/C relay for the 1986 model (P/N 25230-89978) must be ordered separately.
