1989-90 MAXIMA A/C ODOR


APPLIED MODELS: 1989-90 Maxima (J30)

SERVICE INFORMATION:

On some 1989-90 Maxima models, customers may complain of an odor from the A/C system. The odor usually occurs when the A/C system is first turned on and lasts for approximately 15 seconds.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Confirm that the odor is from the A/C system.

2. If the A/C system is confirmed as the source of the odor, replace the cooling unit with a new countermeasure cooling unit, listed below.
