SERVICE INFORMATION

A non-asbestos organic (NAO) front brake pad has been developed for the Maxima. This pad is effective in reducing the tendency for squeak/squeal and creep/groan type noises.

The other two previously recommended brake pads (semi-metallic) have been eliminated and only the NAO pads will be stocked.


SERVICE PROCEDURE

In cases of customer complaint of brake noise or routine pad replacement, install the new pad listed below.
