APPLIED MODELS: 1989-90 MAXIMA (J30)

SERVICE INFORMATION

The engine oil capacities given in the 1989-90 Maxima Service and owner's Manuals are based on the capacity of a newly assembled, dry engine.

The revised capacities provided below refer to oil refill quantities during a typical oil change (approximate drain time of ten minutes). These revised capacities allow for the residual oil which remains in the engine during an average oil change procedure.


With oil filter change: 3.9 liters (4-1/8 quarts)

Without oil filter change: 3.5 liters (3-2/3 quarts)
