Glove Box

Glove Box

SYMPTOMS:
A buzzing noise develops in the vicinity of the glove box while driving.

REPAIR INFORMATION:





Wrap the electrical harness for the glove box lamp with Foam Tape to insulate the harness from contact with the glove box.
Tools Required:
3M 1/4" Black Vinyl Foam Tape, P/N 051131-06370 or equivalent Method:
1. Remove the glove box from the instrument panel.
2. Wrap 3M 1/4" Black Vinyl Foam Tape, P/N 051131-06370 or equivalent around the part of the harness that contacts the glove box.
3. Install the glove box into the instrument panel.
