1994 MODEL SERVICE MANUAL IMPROVEMENTS

SERVICE INFORMATION

As a result of information gathered from Nissan dealership technicians, Nissan has been improving the service manuals. This process began in the 1993 model year with the addition of more complete tables of contents for each section, more easily recognizable section tabbing and more accurate cross referencing in the manuals.

The process continues for the 1994 model year, with a detailed alphabetical index to be added to all Nissan Service Manuals, and the following improvements to the Nissan Altima and Quest Service Manuals:

^ Major changes to the EL Sections, with new, easier-to-read wiring diagrams for most circuits, additional descriptions of how circuits work, and more diagnostic information to speed up your electrical troubleshooting. At the same time, many of the familiar features that were clearly useful to dealership technicians remain in the EL section, such as harness layout diagrams, component locations, connector locations and numbers, etc.

^ Clarified illustrations to show on-vehicle component locations.

^ More consistent organization of sections, especially in HA, to help you find the right information quickly.

^ Improved durability of the covers, so that the manuals will remain usable longer in the dealership service department environment.
