Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column cover and steering wheel, if necessary. Refer to Steering Wheel.
3. Remove instrument panel cover, if necessary, as outlined under Instrument Panel.
4. Remove cluster lid retaining screws, then the cluster lid.
5. Disconnect speedometer cable, cluster retaining nuts and electrical connectors as necessary. The cluster may have to be pulled slightly forward after removing the retaining screws to allow access to the electrical connectors.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
