Speedometer Head: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied:
^ through 10 A fuse (No. (13) located in the fuse block (J/B))
^ to combination meter terminal (41)
Ground is supplied:
^ to combination meter terminal (31), (10) and (38)
^ through body grounds (M13) and (M73)

SPEEDOMETER
The vehicle speed sensor provides a voltage signal to the combination meter for the speedometer.
The voltage is supplied:
^ to combination meter terminals (28) and (11) for the speedometer
^ from terminals (1) and (2) of the vehicle speed sensor.
The speedometer converts the voltage into the vehicle speed displayed.
