SYMPTOM: A/T does not shift from 3[3] to 2[2]: when changing selector lever from 3 to 2 position.
1. CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH CIRCUIT

With CONSULT-II





Does "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" show damage to Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit?

Without CONSULT-II
Does self-diagnosis show damage to Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit?
Yes or No
Yes >> Check Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit. Refer to "DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH".
No >> Go to AT-233, "9. A/T Does Not Shift: D1 -> D2 or Does Not Kickdown: D4 -> D2". A/T Does Not Shift: D1 -> D2 or Does Not Kickdown: D4 -> D2
