b. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
c. Remove four Bolts and remove the Engine Cover (see Figure A1).
d. Remove the Air Intake Duct and Air Filter Housing Top Cover (see Figure A2).
^ Disconnect the Air Flow Sensor Harness Connector from the Air Filter Housing Top Cover.
e. Disconnect the Purge Volume Control Valve and Electric Throttle Control Actuator Connectors (see Figure A3-1). Then, re-position the Harness out of the way (see Figure A3-2).
f. Disconnect the Cam Position Sensor and Coolant Temperature Sensor Connectors (see Figure A4).
g. Remove two Bolts from the Wire Harness Guide/Protector (see Figure A5).
h. Remove two Bolts that secure the vehicle Wire Harnesses to the Intake Collector (see Figure A6).
i. Disconnect the four Ignition Coil Harness Connectors (see Figure A7).

NOTE:
^ You do NOT have to disconnect the Coolant and Fuel Hoses from the Intake Collector to re-position it.
^ It may be helpful to hang the Intake Collector from the under side of the front Hood using a metal coat hanger or other suitable device.
2. Inspect all Power Valve Screws and Plates to make sure none are missing (see Figure A12).
3. Refer back to the Repair Flow Chart at the beginning of the bulletin for the next applicable step.
