Brake Warning Indicator: Description and Operation
BRAKE WARNING LAMPWhen the parking brake is applied or if the brake fluid level is low, ground is supplied
- to combination meter terminal 17
- from parking brake switch terminal 1 or
- to combination meter terminal 19
- from brake fluid level switch terminal 1.
When power and ground are supplied, the brake warning lamp illuminates.
ABS WARNING LAMP (WITH ABS)
When an ABS malfunction occurs, ground is supplied
- to combination meter terminal 16
- from ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) terminal 21.
When power and ground are supplied, the ABS warning lamp illuminates.
