Charge Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

CHARGE WARNING LAMP
During prove out or when a generator malfunction occurs, ground is supplied
- to combination meter terminal 14
- from generator terminal L.

When power and ground are supplied, the charge warning lamp and brake lamp illuminate.

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR
The IC regulator warning function activates to illuminate "CHARGE" warning lamp, if any of the following symptoms occur while generator is operating:
- Excessive voltage is produced.
- No voltage is produced.
