HEATER & COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Discharge the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to "HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure"
2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Refer to "Changing Engine Coolant".
3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core pipes.
4. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the evaporator.
5. Remove the instrument panel.
6. Remove the blower unit.




7. Disconnect the mode door motor and the air mix door motor connectors.
8. Remove the heater and cooling unit.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- degrees Fill the radiator with coolant. Refer to "REFILLING ENGINE COOLANT".
- Recharge the A/C system. Refer to "HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure".
