REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Removal
NOTE:
If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring the new BCM after installation. Testing and Inspection.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower driver instrument panel.
3. Remove the screws and release the BCM from the steering member.
4. Disconnect the harness connectors and remove the BCM.
Installation
Installation in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- When replacing BCM, it must be configured. Testing and Inspection.
- When replacing BCM, perform initialization of NATS system and registration of all NATS ignition key IDs. Programming and Relearning
