Removal and Installation for Compressor - QR25DE
REMOVAL
1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to "HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure".
2. Partially drain the engine cooling system. Refer to CO-36, "Changing Engine Coolant".
3. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
4. Remove the front RH wheel and tire.
5. Remove the engine undercover.
6. Remove the front air duct.
7. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
8. Disconnect the coolant reservoir hose from the radiator.
9. Remove the electric cooling fan assembly.
10. Remove the drive belt.
11. Disconnect the compressor connector.
12. Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose and low-pressure flexible hose.
CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the hose with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of any contaminants.
13. Remove the muffler pipe from the compressor.

14. Remove the compressor bolts using power tool, then remove the compressor.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Replace the O-ring of the low-pressure flexible hose, muffler pipe and high-pressure flexible hose with new ones, then apply A/C oil to them for installation.
- After charging the A/C refrigerant, check for leaks. Refer to "Checking of Refrigerant Leaks".
