INTRODUCTION

Nissan has determined that on certain 2008 Versa Sedan and Hatchback vehicles, a sill cover plate may be needed to prevent water intrusion into the interior of the vehicle. To remedy this potential condition, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect, and if necessary, install a sill cover plate at no charge for parts or labor.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Nissan has assigned identification number PM815 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Dealers are to correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.

NOTE:
One tube of sealant (P/N 11121-C9910) is enough to service multiple vehicles. This sealant is considered a shop supply and it can be ordered through your local PDC.

The Liquid Gasket (Sealant) listed above is also available in a smaller tube (P/N 999MP-1217HP) from the Nissan Direct Ship Chemical Care Product Program
