CLAIMS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Perform repairs on an alignment rack.

NOTES:
> The vehicle should already be set up on an alignment machine so rear toe setting can be viewed.

> When performing this procedure with the vehicle's weight on the suspension, the vehicle does not have to be driven (for suspension settling) before checking after-adjustment settings.

> For better viewing only: Figure 1 shows a vehicle on a lift.

2. Loosen, but do not remove, all three (3) rear suspension beam bracket bolts on each side, as needed (see Figure 2 above).

3. Move each side of the suspension forward or backward as needed (see Figure 2).

^ Move the suspension by prying on one of the rear suspension beam bracket bolt heads.

4. Tighten the remaining two (2) bolts enough to hold the bracket in place (see Figure 2).

5. Once left rear and right rear toe measurements are equalized as close as possible, torque the rear suspension beam bracket bolts.

^ For bolts torque specifications, refer to E SUSPENSION> RSU Rear Suspension of the correct model year Electronic Service Manual (ESM).

6. Finish the alignment process.

7. Road test (verify repairs).
