DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:
If two or more DTCs are detected, Related Tests, Information And Procedures, and determine trouble diagnosis order.






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.Start engine.
2.Operate soft top to fully open and fully close.
3.Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "CONVERTIBLE ROOF" using CONSULT.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Go to .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK SOFT TOP SYSTEM COMPONENT-I

Check that no foreign material is pinched by soft top system component.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Remove foreign material from soft top system.

2. CHECK SOFT TOP SYSTEM COMPONENT-II

Check that soft top system component is installed normally and is not damaged.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
