DTC Logic


DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PRECONDITIONING

- Turn power switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
- Make sure that 12V battery voltage is 11 V or more.
- GO TO 2.

2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-I

With CONSULT
1.Turn power switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
2.Turn power switch ON.
3.Change the timer charge setting 1 on navigation display and wait at least 6 minutes.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- GO TO 3.

3. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-II

With CONSULT
1.Turn power switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
2.Turn power switch ON.
3.Change the timer charge setting 2 on navigation display and wait at least 6 minutes.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- GO TO 4.

4. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-III

With CONSULT
1.Turn power switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
2.Turn power switch ON.
3.Change the timer air conditioner setting 1 on navigation display and wait at least 6 minutes.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- GO TO 5.

5. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-IV

1.Turn power switch OFF and wait at least 20 seconds.
2.Turn power switch ON.
3.Change the timer air conditioner setting 2 on navigation display and wait at least 6 minutes.
4.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. REPLACE AV CONTROL UNIT

1.Replace AV control unit. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Base Audio And Navigation.
2.Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to "DTC Logic" .
Is the DTC detected again?
YES- Replace VCM. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal And Installation.
NO- INSPECTION END
