2012 LEAF(R); NAVI DISPLAYS INCORRECT CITY NAME

APPLIED VEHICLE:
2012 LEAF(R) (ZE0) APPLIED VIN and
DATE: 2012 vehicles built before JNIAZ0CP(*)CT 025428 and July 5 2012

IF YOU CONFIRM:

When using the NAVI system, it may display the incorrect city name.

NOTE:

The NAVI mapping functions still operate correctly.

ACTION:

1. Go to Previous Destinations in the NV (NAVI) control unit.











2. Check for a match in name(s) of cities in Previous Destinations to those in Table A.

3. If a match is found, replace the NV control unit.

NOTE:

^ This bulletin applies only if there is a match in Previous Destinations and Table A.

^ There is no need to call TECH LINE to replace or order this part.

^ Follow the reman exchange program as it applies.

Submit a Primary Part (PP) type line claim using the claims coding shown.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Turn on the NAVI unit.

2. Go to MENU>Destination>Previous Destinations.

3. Compare the names of cities under Previous Destinations with those listed in Table A.

^ Scroll up and down to view the complete list, if necessary.





4. If there is a match, replace the A/V control unit.
