Test C: A/C Compressor Relay Test

1. Use a test lamp to check the voltage to ground at the A/C Compressor Relay at the terminals listed in the following table. Leave the A/C Compressor Relay in place.

Test C A/C Compressor Relay Test:

^ If all tests are good, but compressor does not operate, repair open in LT BRN wire (66) to Pressure Cycling Switch.
^ If the test lamp does not light at terminal 1, check Fuse 7 and check the BRN wire (50) for an open.
^ If test lamp does not light at terminal 5, proceed to A/C Compressor Control Output Test.
^ If test lamp lights at terminal 2, repair open in BLK wire (150 or 151) to ground.
^ If all tests are good, except terminal 4, check that terminal 2 is grounded through the BLK wire (150 and 151). If BLK wire is good, replace the A/C Compressor Relay.
