Test B: A/C Compressor Clutch Test

Test B A/C Compressor Clutch Test:

1. With jumper between terminals B and D of the A/C Compressor Control Relay, check the voltage to ground using a test lamp at the A/C Compressor Clutch. Leave the clutch connector in place.

^ If tests are good but clutch does not engage, replace the A/C Compressor Clutch.
^ If test lamp does not light at the DK GRN (59) wire, check for an open in the wire.
^ If test lamp lights dimly at the DK GRN (59) wire, check for loose connector pins in the A/C Compressor Control Relay, Pressure Cycling Switch, and the Heater-A/C Control Assembly.
^ If test lamp lights at DK BLU wire (204), check DK BLU wire and BLK wire (150) for an open. A/C High Pressure Cut-Out Switch should be closed.
