TEMP Indicator (VIN 3)(VIN C) STANDARD CLUSTER
The TEMP Indicator warns the driver of a high coolant temperature. With the Ignition Switch in RUN, BULB TEST or START, voltage from Fuse 16 is applied to the TEMP Indicator. In BULB TEST or START, the Indicator's bulb is grounded through the Ignition Switch or Voice/Alarm Module as a bulb check. In RUN, the bulb can now be grounded through the Coolant Temperature Sender/Switch. The switch closes when the coolant temperature exceeds 258°F (126°C) and the TEMP Indicator lights.
