Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

The following procedure must be performed before the Driver Information System On-Board Diagnostics can be used.

To enter the diagnostic mode, do the following:

1. Press the DEST key.
2. Press the RESET key.
3. Enter 8192

The display will now be in the diagnostic mode. Use the following diagram as a reference to determine which display position you should look at when performing the diagnostic tests.
