Knee Diverter: Service and Repair

1. Deactivate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION.
2. Remove trim pad between instrument panel and lower trim panel.
3. Remove screws along top of instrument panel lower trim panel.
4. Remove screws from left end of lower trim panel.
5. Remove screws from bottom of lower trim panel.
6. Disconnect electrical connectors as necessary to remove panel.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Following installation, activate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
b. Ensure proper operation of airbag lamp.
