System Check - Instrument Panel Dimming

SYSTEM CHECK

1. Turn the Ignition Switch to Run.
- Vacuum fluorescent displays light at full brightness.
- All incandescent (panel) lights are off.
2. Turn the Park or Headlights on, slide the Instrument Panel Dimming Control to HIGH and cover the Twilight Photocell.
- Vacuum fluorescent displays dim.
- All incandescent (panel) lights light.
3. Slide the Instrument Panel Dimming Control to LOW.
- All incandescent lights and vacuum fluorescent displays dim.
4. Slide the Instrument Panel Dimming Control to OFF.
- All incandescent lights go out.
- Only IPC (vacuum fluorescent) display can be seen.
