October 1991

"DEALER TECHNICAL BULLETIN UPDATE" has been renamed "SERVICE BULLETIN REVISION" to avoid any confusion with other types of Oldsmobile bulletins. As you can see, we have also changed the paper color to make it unique and easily distinguishable.

The purpose of this document is to provide you with minor corrections or updates to any type of Oldsmobile service bulletin without doing a complete reprint. After corrections are made to the referenced bulletins you may discard this document. SERVICE BULLETIN REVISION will be published on an "as needed" basis. We will continue to reprint bulletins if major revisions are required.

DEALER TECHNICAL BULLETIN
91-T-129 SECTION 6E2
DRIVEABILITY IMPROVEMENTS
NEW PROM CALIBRATION
91 CUSTOM CRUISER

The entire Note following the table in the "CORRECTION" section of this bulletin must be deleted. Oldsmobile vehicles were not involved in the VIN break points listed in that note. In other words, if the engine control system is operating properly, regardless of numbers stamped on the EGR and PCV valves replace the PROM with the appropriate one from the chart in the "CORRECTION" section of this bulletin. Please make this correction to your copy(s) of DTB 91-T-129.
