TEST DESCRIPTION: Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.

1. The ECM used for this engine can also be used for other engines and the difference is in the Mem-Cal. If a Code 41 sets, the incorrect Mem-Cal has been installed or it is faulty and it must be replaced.


DIAGNOSTIC AIDS:

Check Mem-Cal to be sure locking tabs are secure.
