Interior Lamps

When a door is opened or the Panel/Interior Light Control is operated, a ground path is provided to light the Footwell, Door, and Header Courtesy Lights and the Door Warning Lights.
The Front Door Lock Switch illumination lights come with the Head/Park Light Switch at HEAD or PARK. Voltage is also applied to the Engine Compartment Light. It lights when its switch closes, providing a ground path.
The Head/Park Light Switch Illumination and Console Shifts Lights come on with the Ignition Switch in RUN. Voltage is also applied to the I/P Compartment Light. It lights when the I/P Compartment is opened, closing its switch and providing a ground path.
The Luggage Compartment Light comes on when the Luggage Compartment Lid is opened, closing its switch and providing a ground path.
The Vanity Mirror Lights come on when the visor is lowered, closing its cover switch.
