Hi-Beam Indicator Lamp: Testing and Inspection

1. Check for operation of the Hi Beam Headlights.

^ If the Hi Beam Headlights operate, go to Step 2.
^ If Hi Beam Headlights do not operate, refer to cell 101 and troubleshoot Headlight circuit.

2. Enter diagnostics, select BCM Input BI83 and operate the Headlight Dimmer Switch.

BCM Input Test BI83:

^ If BCM Input BI83 does not display as shown, check/repair LT GRN (11) wire for an open, short to ground or Battery. If wire is OK, replace the BCM.
^ If the BCM Input BI83 displays correctly and the HI Beam Indicator does not operate, replace the BCM if IPC segment check is OK.
